Family Pride offers couples counseling to adults – married or not – to improve how they communicate with each other, resolve problems as a couple and even help couples disagree in a healthy manner. Couples counseling can be short term and focuses on improving the overall relationship of those involved while taking into account the specific needs of each individual.

Counseling Services

The Family Pride Team believes that families are the building blocks to healthy children, healthy communities and a positive future. For this reason, we work collectively with all family members that may have a positive and/or negative impact on our clients. Family counseling focuses on dynamics of the entire family including – communication, problem solving, role development and, most importantly, healthy bonding. Family therapy can be short (90 days or less) or long term and is an approach that looks at the big picture to often many little overwhelming concerns.

When a family member is struggling to cope with day-to-day stressors, Individual Counseling is offered as a safe and comfortable way to think through those thoughts and feelings, build self-esteem and empower each client towards hope and a new healthier, happier life. These services can be offered within the client’s home, community, school or at Family Pride’s South Street Office in Chardon.

FamilyPride offers the following services within Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and portions of Cuyahoga Counties:
